The event, which took place in the hotel’s Metropolis Ballroom, celebrated Florida’s rich Spanish Colonial history and culture and marked the start of a new chapter in the state’s relationship with Spain, emphasizing future opportunities in tourism, trade, economic development, education and cultural exchange.
